Discover Korean Delights at Tan Opa in Tainan's Xinying District!

Located in the heart of Tainan's Xinying District, Tan Opa Korean Cuisine is a highly popular restaurant renowned for its delicious offerings, including copper plate grilled meat, seafood pancakes, and Korean fried chicken. During our recent two-day trip to the Guanziling hot springs, we made a point to visit Tan Opa before heading back to Taichung. Our visit on a weekend afternoon saw the restaurant nearly packed, so making a reservation is recommended.
The restaurant has a convenient location, with a five-minute drive from Xinying Train Station and accessible parking within a four-minute walk. The interior boasts an industrial-style décor with natural lighting that enhances the dining experience, while effective smoke exhaust design keeps the air fresh.
The menu features both à la carte options and set meals, with a minimum spending of 150 TWD per person, and average costs ranging from 200 to 500 TWD per person. Upon seating, we were served hot tea and classic Korean appetizers, amplifying our anticipation for the meal.
We indulged in crispy seafood pancakes and spicy stir-fried rice cakes, as well as the copper plate grilled beef, which was tender and savory, perfectly complemented by fresh lettuce and Korean sauce. We also ordered the plain tofu pot, which was refreshing and hearty.
Tan Opa offers not only scrumptious dishes but also great value, making it a must-try dining spot for anyone visiting Tainan.
