Passenger's Disturbance Causes EasyJet Flight to Make Emergency Landing in Spain

EasyJet experienced a shocking incident on a flight from Birmingham, UK, to Tenerife, Spain, where a passenger urinated in the aisle, prompting an emergency landing.
On July 2, at around 3:30 AM local time, flight EZY6607's crew reported a "serious disturbance" to the tower and requested priority landing at Tenerife South Airport. Upon landing, police boarded the aircraft to manage the situation.
Reports indicate that a group of passengers from Birmingham exhibited unruly behavior, with one man openly urinating in the aisle and verbally abusing flight attendants, creating significant distress for other passengers and crew members. EasyJet emphasized that their crew responded according to procedures and ensured that flight safety was not compromised.
In a statement, EasyJet noted, "We do not tolerate any aggressive or threatening behavior; the safety of our passengers and crew is our top priority." Such onboard disturbances are not unprecedented, as another EasyJet flight heading to Morocco was similarly forced to divert due to rowdy behavior from passengers in May.
