Harvard Loses Eligibility for International Students Amid Funding Freeze and Protests

Harvard University, one of America’s top institutions, has lost its eligibility for admitting international students due to its refusal to cooperate with federal government interference in campus governance, resulting in a freeze on federal funds. As a consequence, current international students are forced to transfer, affecting the university's financial situation.
Reports indicate that federal funding accounts for about 11% of Harvard's total revenue, approximately $715 million, primarily for research in medical fields such as childhood cancer, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and Alzheimer's disease.
The president of Harvard stated that the inability to continue research will have far-reaching implications.
