First Taiwan Agricultural Tourism Exhibition in Indonesia Marks a New Chapter

The first-ever 'Taiwan Agricultural Tourism Exhibition' is taking place at Emporium Pluit Mall in Jakarta, Indonesia, with support from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Indonesia. The event runs from May 23 to 25, showcasing Taiwan's agricultural tourism resources while collaborating with local travel agencies to offer diverse agri-tour packages.
The exhibition's design incorporates elements of Taiwan's rural imagery, including flowers, bamboo weaving, and greenery, creating an immersive farming tourism experience that captures the attention of local residents and media. With its young demographic and demand for deep experience tourism, Indonesia presents a significant market opportunity for Taiwan's agricultural tourism.
The Ministry of Agriculture stated that this exhibition is a key step for Taiwan's agricultural tourism on the international stage, aiming to raise awareness and brand image of 'Taiwan Agri-tourism' and encourage more overseas travelers to experience Taiwan's rural culture.
To maintain the exhibition's momentum, the Rural Development and Soil and Water Conservation Administration plans to invite Indonesian influencers to revisit Taiwan in June, continuing to share deep travel content through social media and promoting actual itinerary sales in collaboration with travel agencies.
