The cross-strait situation is once again under scrutiny as foreign media reports suggest that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) may launch a military action against Taiwan in 2027, a significant symbolic year for the People's Liberation Army.

Experts caution that while an invasion in the next six months is unlikely, vigilance is necessary regarding a specific key individual. As President Lai Ching-te approaches his one-year anniversary in office on May 20, the CCP plans military exercises around Taiwan during this time.

In an interview, Lai remarked that Taiwan, as a nation vulnerable to invasion, must prepare for the worst while hoping for the best.

Fortune teller Xiao Meng utilized tarot cards to predict that the likelihood of China attacking Taiwan within the next six months is low. His interpretation of the cards indicates that both sides are showing restraint, and the cross-strait relationship is poised to improve.

However, Xiao Meng also warned that if China were to suddenly change its leader, it might lead to a misjudgment of the situation, potentially igniting conflict—this would be the most alarming signal.
