Former world number one Novak Djokovic achieved a commanding victory against American challenger Mackenzie McDonald in straight sets at the French Open today (27th). Djokovic triumphed with scores of 6-3, 6-3, 6-3, advancing smoothly to the next round.

In the first set, Djokovic served first, and while both players exchanged multiple rallies, he successfully held serve. McDonald showcased his skills by equalizing the score in the second game. After a brief interruption due to wind conditions, which Djokovic cited affected his ability to face his opponent's serve, he ultimately secured the first set 6-3.

In the second set, Djokovic, having won the first, continued to assert his dominance, claiming the first two games in quick succession. Although he faced a challenge in the sixth game, he managed to maintain his serve, concluding the set again at 6-3.

The third set saw Djokovic maintain control, and after a series of critical plays, he won the match decisively with a score of 6-3. This victory marks Djokovic's 97th win at the French Open, as he aims to chase another championship title.
