During the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, the Korean Tourism Organization held the Korean Culture Tourism Exhibition at Pier 2 in Kaohsiung, inviting popular Korean professional baseball cheerleader Lee Da-hui to introduce the cuisine and famous attractions of her hometown, Jeonju. Lee unexpectedly mentioned that she watched the night view with her "previous boyfriend" at Donggu Temple, which caused a stir among fans present. The organizers announced that another well-known Korean cheerleader, Lee Ah-young, would attend on the final day, June 1, to share her insights about her hometown.

The Korean Culture Tourism Exhibition will run from now until June 1 at Pier 2 Warehouse P2, featuring Korean-themed cuisine such as Daegu fried chicken, Jeju haenyeo coffee, and traditional Korean snacks like fish cakes, sweet rice cakes, rice cakes, cold noodles, and spicy rice cakes. There will also be popular experiences, including personal color analysis, hanbok wedding dress photo sessions, four-panel life photos, and trials of skincare products and hand creams, allowing attendees to enjoy a variety of activities.

On the afternoon of the 30th, Lee Da-hui performed a stunning dance on the stage outside the exhibition area and shared the highlights of Jeonju, recommending the traditional markets in southern Jeonju where high-value authentic cuisine, including spicy rice cakes and her favorite Korean pancakes, can be found. She also suggested visiting Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukchon Hanok Village while wearing hanbok to capture beautiful photos. She accidentally revealed that this place was a dating spot with her "previous boyfriend," causing an uproar among the audience, but thankfully, the host quickly intervened, saying, "Let's not talk about Da-hui's secrets."

Jin Jong-hoon, head of the International Tourism Department of the Korean Tourism Organization, attended the event and stated that Kaohsiung is one of the most desired travel destinations for young people from Korea, and Taiwanese friends are also keen on visiting Korea. He encouraged the public to follow in Lee Da-hui's footsteps and experience the charm of Korean culture.

Gao Min-lin, director of the Kaohsiung City Tourism Bureau, mentioned that Korea's performance in pop culture has been remarkable, and Kaohsiung has seen numerous Korean artists holding concerts in recent years, which has helped enhance international interest in Korean tourism. She noted that there are currently over 42 flights between Kaohsiung and Korea and hopes to utilize this opportunity to promote cultural exchange and enhance the visibility of Kaohsiung as an international travel destination.
