Family Dispute Leads to Fatal Shooting in Thailand, 3 Elders Dead, Suspect Surrenders

On May 30, a tragic shooting occurred in Suphanburi, central Thailand, where a man shot and killed three elderly relatives before initially fleeing the scene. However, he later surrendered to local police.
Reports indicate that the victims included 51-year-old Chatarat, 70-year-old Ramphai, and 67-year-old Somphas. The suspect, 33-year-old Paiboon, who has family ties to the victims, is believed to have been motivated by a land dispute.
After the incident, Paiboon fled but later returned to the police station accompanied by the local village headman. He is currently undergoing interrogation by the police chief in Suphanburi, with further details regarding the motive still under investigation.
