Indonesian Open: Zhou Tiancheng Upsets World No. 4 Li Shifeng to Reach Men's Singles Final
In the quarterfinals of the Indonesian Open, world number 7 Taiwanese badminton player Zhou Tiancheng turned the tables against world number 4 Chinese athlete Li Shifeng with a score of 14-21, 21-13, 21-17, advancing to the semifinals. Despite a rocky start in the first game, Zhou found his footing and displayed consistent skill and composure throughout the match.
In the second game, Zhou launched a strong 7-1 attack that helped him equalize, and in the decisive third game, he built a significant lead of 17-10. Even though Li made a slight comeback, Zhou's steadiness secured his place in the semifinals, where he will face Thailand's Kunlavut Vitidsarn, the newly crowned world champion, on the 7th.
