A shocking murder has occurred in Tuscany, a famous Italian tourist destination! The victim was an escort who, after an encounter with the suspect, attempted to extort 340,000 New Taiwan Dollars (around USD 11,450) but was tragically killed and dismembered; her head was severed and burned. According to reports from the NEW YORK POST, Maria Denisa Paun, a 30-year-old Romanian escort, went missing from her home on the 15th of last month. It wasn't until Wednesday (the 4th) that her body was found stuffed in a suitcase near an abandoned farmhouse, her head severed and showing signs of having been burned with gasoline.

The police arrested 32-year-old Vasile Frumuzache, the alleged murderer, who is also Romanian, married with two children, and currently employed at a security company. Prosecutors noted that Vasile did not deny killing Denisa and admitted to dismembering her body and placing it in the suitcase. Vasile stated that he and Denisa met through a dating app, and on the day of the incident, they met at a hotel for sexual conduct. However, after the act, Denisa demanded USD 11,450 and threatened to inform Vasile's wife about their relationship if he refused to pay. In a fit of rage, Vasile strangled Denisa and then severed her head. Hotel surveillance captured him pulling Denisa's suitcase away around 1 AM the next day. The police traced his route of disposing of the body through GPS and found burned remains and the murder weapon near the farmhouse. The prosecutor's office has filed charges against Vasile, and the case is still under investigation.
