Magnitude 6.4 Earthquake Strikes Bogota, Colombia, Residents Report Tremors
According to reports, a magnitude 6.4 earthquake occurred in Bogota, the capital of Colombia, at 8:08 AM local time on June 8 (9:08 PM Taiwan time). The tremor was recorded at a shallow depth of 11 kilometers (6.21 miles) by the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ).
No damage has been reported so far, but residents in multiple areas have felt the shaking. Authorities are continuing to monitor the situation closely.
