27-year-old Serina Ko, who was third runner-up in the 2020 Miss Hong Kong pageant, has recently captured fans' attention due to a severe food allergy incident. She shocked her followers by posting pictures of her swollen and red eyes on social media, revealing that she experienced her first severe allergic reaction, which led to breathing difficulties and blurred vision, prompting urgent medical attention.

In her Instagram post, Ko mentioned that this was her first severe food allergy episode, which occurred within a short span of just half an hour. She described the rapid onset of symptoms, including swollen eyes and a sudden constriction of her airways. She noted that this unexpected reaction startled not only herself but also her mother and friends. Fortunately, after being rushed to the hospital and receiving treatment, her condition stabilized.

Ko expressed her gratitude to fans for their concern and urged everyone to pay attention to food safety, also suggesting she undergo further allergy testing to prevent future incidents.
