However, some fans expressed their displeasure on social media when he recited several place names from fans’ signs, including multiple Chinese locations, during his performance of 'Those Adventurous Dreams.'
Fans criticized the concert, with complaints like, 'I waited so long for that song, only to hear names read out?' Supporters defended him, clarifying that this is a standard interactive segment and that he has read out local names at performances in other cities. They also noted that as a Singaporean, he may not be as sensitive to cross-strait issues, which might explain the controversy.
