Yoo Joon-an Finishes 3rd at PGA Canada Open, Marks Best of the Season

At the PGA Canada Open, Taiwanese golfer Yoo Joon-an shot a final round of 66, securing a third-place finish, just one stroke behind the champion, marking his best performance of the season.
The total prize purse was $9.8 million, held at the TPC Toronto this year. Yoo performed exceptionally well in the third round, posting the lowest score of the field at 63, which put him just one stroke behind the leader and in contention for the title.
In the final round, Yoo started strong by making a birdie on the first hole and even secured an eagle on the second hole. However, he stumbled with bogeys on holes seven and nine, missing the chance to extend his lead. After the turn, he made another bogey on the 13th hole, but demonstrated great resilience by making consecutive birdies on the 14th and 15th holes. He ended the tournament with a total score of 263, 17 under par, which gave him a third place finish for the season. Unfortunately, he fell just one stroke short of clinching the championship but earned a spot in next month's British Open.
