Lin Chang-tso Appointed as Finland's Representative, Controversy Arises Over Qualifications

Today (19th), Minister of Foreign Affairs, Lin Chia-lung, confirmed that Lin Chang-tso, the lead singer of the band Chthonic and former lawmaker, will take over as the representative to Finland, sparking widespread public interest and debate.
The social media page 'Politicians Are Happy' compiled and compared the educational backgrounds and expertise of Lin Chang-tso and the current Finnish ambassador, Chang Hsiu-cheng, harshly criticizing the idea that "as long as you love the party and contribute greatly, you can be rewarded with a good official position." The comparison chart indicates that Chang Hsiu-cheng graduated with a degree in Political Science from National Chengchi University, a master's in International Relations from Georgia State University, and completed advanced diplomatic training at the University of Southern California. She has held several positions, including Secretary for the Executive Yuan's news office in San Francisco, Secretary General of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission, and Deputy Counselor of the San Francisco Office.
In contrast, Lin Chang-tso holds a degree in Business Management from National Taipei University and has experience as a band vocalist and legislator, but does not have extensive diplomatic training. 'Politicians Are Happy' further criticized Lin Chang-tso's qualifications, suggesting that his expertise lies in producing low-grossing films and other controversial actions.
This post has drawn significant attention online, with many commenting, "How can someone like this be a representative?" and "No need for high civil exams in the future, just get a party certificate for unfettered access."
