2025 EY World Entrepreneur Award: Sweden's Stina Ehrensvärd Takes Top Honor; Yu I-teh is Taiwan's Representative

As the world faces challenges such as energy transition, climate change, and geopolitical risks, the EY Entrepreneur Award is known as the 'Olympics of Entrepreneurs'. It annually honors leaders with innovative thinking and sustainable impacts. This year, the awards ceremony took place in Monte Carlo, and Yu I-teh, General Manager of Hwa Cheng Electric, represented Taiwan with his excellent performance in promoting smart manufacturing and green energy.
The highest honor for the 2025 award went to Stina Ehrensvärd, founder of the Swedish tech firm Yubico. Since its establishment in 2007, Yubico has provided services to thousands of enterprises and government entities across over 160 countries, becoming a leader in online security. Stina believes that digital identity security is a fundamental human right and continues to advocate for privacy protection and information security.
As the winner of the 2024 EY Entrepreneur Award, Yu I-teh has transformed the traditional business model, expanded customer reach and performance, while maintaining a core belief of 'solving customer problems', facilitating seamless integration of production lines and orders through system management.
