Musk Regrets Conflict with Trump
Musk received the "Key to the White House" when he left last month, but has since had a falling out with Trump. According to Reuters, Musk engaged in a heated online exchange with President Trump last week, resulting in mutual accusations. Subsequently, Musk seems to have had second thoughts, as he expressed on Wednesday (11th) on social media platform X, acknowledging that his posts were "a bit over the top."
In a post made shortly after 2 AM Texas time, Musk stated, "I regret some of my posts directed at President Trump last week; they were excessive." This prompted one of his die-hard fans to comment, "We hope this (Trump-Musk relationship) returns. Let's make America great again. Call Trump." During the earlier exchanges, Musk had supported Trump's impeachment, alleging that the delay from the U.S. Department of Justice in releasing files related to underage girl Jeffrey Epstein was due to Trump's presence on Epstein's list of guests.
