Iran Withdraws from Nuclear Talks with the U.S., Emphasizes the Need to Develop Nuclear Weapons

The Iranian government has announced it will not participate in nuclear negotiations with the United States and strongly condemned the recent Israeli attack on Iranian military bases. This attack has led the Iranian government to decide to accelerate its nuclear weapons program in response to threats from the U.S. and Israel.
On the morning of the 13th, Israel launched a military operation involving over 200 aircraft targeting Iran's Natanz uranium enrichment facility and ballistic missile factories, reportedly killing an Iranian Revolutionary Guard commander and several nuclear scientists. The Iranian government stated through state television that the attack was a joint plot by the U.S. and Israel and reiterated the importance of developing nuclear weapons.
Iran was originally scheduled to hold the sixth round of nuclear talks with the U.S. on the 15th in Oman, but President Trump stated that despite giving Iran multiple opportunities to reach an agreement, they failed to do so. He emphasized that there is still time to end the conflict before it escalates further.
