Iran Deploys Over 100 Drones Against Israel
Iran has launched a retaliatory strike against Israel, deploying over 100 drones for the assault. According to official Israeli sources, this action is a response to threats posed by Iran to the United States and Israel.
As reported by CNN, Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson Effie Defrin stated that all of Israel's air defense systems are currently operational to intercept the drone threats from Iran. Defrin emphasized, "This is a situation we have never faced before, and we expect challenging hours ahead." Following a preemptive airstrike on Iran, Jordan has temporarily closed its airspace as a precautionary measure, and both Israel and Iran have also closed their airspaces. Reports from Flightradar24 indicate that there were almost no aircraft activities over either country on Friday morning.
