Multiple Flights Depart Iran Ignoring Airspace Closure; Rumors of Leader Khamenei's Escape

According to the global flight tracking service "Flightradar24", several non-scheduled flights have taken off from Tehran's Mehrabad Airport, with unknown destinations. This situation has sparked speculation that the current Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has fled.

As tensions between Israel and Iran escalate, Iran's Civil Aviation Authority announced the closure of the country's airspace on the 14th. However, several aircraft took off from Tehran during this time, heading to undisclosed locations. Many Iranian opposition members have witnessed these flights taking off and suspect that they may be transporting government officials and military leaders' families to safer locations.

There are also claims circulating online that Khamenei may have boarded one of these flights heading to Russia. Later in the evening, the flight tracking service reiterated that several non-scheduled flights had taken off from Tehran's Mehrabad Airport hours earlier and that their flight paths and destinations could not be tracked.

Recent intelligence indicates that on the 13th, the Israeli Air Force launched a massive airstrike on Iranian nuclear and missile facilities, resulting in significant casualties among Iranian senior military officials and scientists. This attack has been compared to the targeted strike on Hezbollah's command structure in 2024.
