Taiwanese Tourists Encounter Terrifying Car Accident in Vietnam, Travel Agency Admits Driver Error

According to reports from the Central Region, a resident from Taichung complained that during the holiday period, their family of four spent nearly 70,000 TWD on a tour to Vietnam, only to face a car accident on their journey. The driver, aware of the traffic jam ahead, insisted on proceeding, causing the vehicle to lose control and dangerously slide down the slope. Fortunately, a bridge pillar along the roadside prevented the vehicle from plummeting down the mountain.
The travel agency acknowledged the driver's error and is currently negotiating compensation with the affected tourists. During the incident, the bus was stuck on an incline and was on the verge of falling off the mountain, leaving the 25 passengers inside in a state of panic, with onboard cameras capturing the dangerously sliding bus.
The agency provided a 1,000 TWD red envelope to the affected group to ease the shock and subsequently admitted responsibility, raising the compensation offer to 10,000 TWD, but no mutual agreement has yet been reached.
