Taiwan-Philippines Visa Waiver! From July 2025, Filipinos can stay for 14 days without a visa

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced good news on the 19th. The Philippine government officially announced that starting from July 1, 2025, holders of Taiwanese passports entering the Philippines for tourism purposes can enjoy a 14-day visa-free stay, which cannot be extended or changed to another visa category.
The Ministry stated that this reciprocal policy aligns with the recent announcement of extending visa waivers for Filipinos traveling to Taiwan for one year, promoting closer cooperation between Taiwan and the Philippines in trade, investment, and tourism.
This agreement is the result of years of active negotiation between the two governments and reflects the Ministry's efforts in promoting comprehensive diplomacy. The Ministry also reminds travelers to comply with local laws and ensure their own safety while in the Philippines. In case of emergencies, travelers can contact the Taiwan Representative Office in the Philippines at +63-917-819-4597 or have friends and family in Taiwan call the Ministry's Emergency Contact Center at 0800-085-095 for necessary assistance.
