The TUTIS AI Club, initiated by the Taiwan TUTIS AI International Accelerator, held its certification ceremony for the 'North America Silicon Valley Chapter' at the Taipei Garden Hotel. Representatives from various sectors gathered to symbolize a new chapter in US-Taiwan collaboration in artificial intelligence. Ming Lee, a prominent Silicon Valley entrepreneur, serves as the first president of the chapter, becoming the first international co-founder of the AI Club, injecting new energy into the global AI community.
Founder Chi-Yi Wen stated that since the Club was first launched on May 20 at COMPUTEX, it has received enthusiastic responses from cities worldwide. The establishment of the Silicon Valley chapter marks a significant milestone in connecting the AI industrial chain between North America and Asia. The chapter is based at the 'Central Computer Building,' generously provided by Saul Yeoung, the honorary chairman of the American Technology Association, and will become the core hub for the AI Club in North America, initiating various programs for talent, technology, and funding connections.
President Ming Lee pointed out that AI is rapidly transforming the global industrial landscape. TUTIS AI Club will serve as a bridge for collaboration in technology and innovation between Taiwan and Silicon Valley. He shared that his startup, Innouveaute AI, is designed to promote AI applications between the US and Taiwan, leveraging past experiences in hosting technology exhibitions to fully drive the operation of the North American AI Club.
Chi-Yi Wen emphasized that the core philosophy of the TUTIS AI Club is to create a globally open and collaborative AI ecosystem, linking computing power, talent, capital, and application markets through its city chapters. The North American chapter will focus on three main goals: 'AI talent exchange,' 'technology application,' and 'venture capital matching' to elevate AI innovation collaboration between the US and Taiwan.
The event also featured several members sharing cutting-edge AI projects, showcasing Taiwan's innovative strength. Furthermore, with the establishment of the Silicon Valley chapter, the global expansion of TUTIS AI Club is formally entering a phase of substantial progress, with plans to establish city chapters in Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Singapore, and Bahrain in the Middle East, linking the AI innovation value chain in the Asia-Pacific and America.
