Kaohsiung Marriott Hotel Welcomes Philippine Travel Group to Boost International Tourism Opportunities

The Kaohsiung Marriott Hotel, in collaboration with the Kaohsiung City Tourism Bureau, welcomed a familiarization tour of Philippine travel operators on June 19 to showcase the city's diverse charm and tourism potential through in-depth local experiences.
Deputy Director Sun Chun-Liang from the Kaohsiung City Tourism Bureau and hotel General Manager Tony Wong attended the welcome lunch, symbolizing a partnership between the government and private sector to promote international travel opportunities.
The itinerary included a tour of the hotel's various facilities, such as its modern-designed guest rooms and expansive banquet halls, delivering a firsthand experience of its comprehensive planning and flexible application for large events and MICE services. The lunch was held at the hotel's “Jing Tsui Cantonese Dining,” where guests enjoyed classic Cantonese dim sum and authentic dishes.
With its advantageous location beside the Love River, the hotel stands as a new landmark in northern Kaohsiung, just a short drive from the Kaohsiung International Airport and the Zuoying High-Speed Rail Station.
This initiative is expected to encourage Philippine travel operators to further promote Kaohsiung as an emerging destination, expanding bilateral tourism cooperation opportunities.
