Lin Jun-hsien Urges KMT to Prepare for Compensation of 20,000, How Many National Victims Are There?
The KMT Tainan City Party is embroiled in a ghost signature and forgery case, with the recall petitions for Wang Ding-yu and Lin Jun-hsien being copied illegally, leading to the indictment of 11 individuals. Wang Ding-yu announced today that he will assist affected individuals in seeking compensation, which can be as high as 20,000 NTD per person. He will provide petition documents for voters in districts such as East District, Rende, Guiren, Guanmiao, and Longqi to check.
Lin Jun-hsien stressed that those whose names were misused for signatures are victims and have the right to seek compensation from the KMT. Given the potential number of victims, he urged the KMT to be prepared for compensation and that KMT Chairman Zhu Lilun should apologize instead of diverting the issue to President Lai Ching-te. He emphasized that there is clear evidence that this systematic crime was directed from the KMT’s central leadership.
