Explosion at Rome Gas Station Injures Dozens, Shock Waves Felt Miles Away
On the morning of April 4, around 8 AM local time, a powerful explosion occurred at a gas station in the Villa De Santis area of Rome, with shock waves felt several kilometers away. Preliminary investigations suggest that the explosion was triggered when a fuel tanker accidentally collided with a fuel line while refueling liquefied petroleum gas.
At least 21 people were injured, several suffering serious burns.
