Chinese Women's Basketball Team Struggles Against South Korea's Three-Point Barrage; Huang Lingjuan Admits Defensive Communication Issues

The Chinese women's basketball team was defeated by South Korea 62-92 in the Jones Cup, with South Korea taking a commanding lead of 44-24 at halftime. The South Korean team hit 17 three-pointers, boasting a shooting percentage of 55.4%. Huang Lingjuan stated after the game, 'We've had ongoing issues with defensive communication.'
Head coach Michael Olson pointed out that while South Korea's shooting percentage was very high, his team's was quite low. He noted that players were somewhat fatigued due to consecutive games and emphasized the need to improve both three-point defense and their own shooting percentage.
