Wang Yichuan Criticizes Huang Kuo-chang: Blocking National Security Laws Makes You 'Communist Supporter'

Reporter Chen Zhiren reports from Taoyuan: As the July 26th recall vote approaches, Legislator Wang Yichuan launched the "Agree to Recall Big Motorcade, Protect Taiwan Without Retreat" campaign today (5th) at San Chong Gong in Pingzhen, Taoyuan. Wang, alongside Taoyuan City councilors and civic groups, called for participants to support the recall through a motorcade.
The event attracted over a thousand motorcycles, with participants sporting helmets adorned with the 'Agree' slogan and vehicles filled with recall flags. Throughout the route, participants interacted with the public, and the slogan 'Big Recall, Big Success' echoed throughout.
Wang noted that the motorcade route passed through multiple electoral districts of Kuomintang legislators, ensuring that the recall message resonated throughout Taoyuan, underscoring a commitment to removing unfit legislators. Additionally, he announced plans for another action in the Yangmei District to further expand the recall movement.
In response to media inquiries about the criticism from the People's Party leader Huang Kuo-chang, Wang firmly stated that the People's Party cooperated with the Kuomintang in blocking all national security law bills from entering the Legislative Yuan and directly noted, 'If Huang Kuo-chang claims they are not communist supporters, then they are exactly that.'
