Tainan's Zuozhen Leisure Park Nears Completion with 947 Thai Cherry Trees Planted

The Tainan City Government's Zuozhen Leisure Park, located on a small hill in the Mukuang neighborhood, has seen an investment of nearly NT$20 million over 13 years, with completion expected next month. Notably, 947 Thai cherry trees have been planted to create a picturesque spring atmosphere.
Situated adjacent to National Route 20, the park will provide a comfortable resting area for passing tourists. District Chief Yu Jiji mentioned that the park covers over 0.5 hectares and has received a total of NT$19.65 million in funding since the first phase began in 2012.
Facilities such as ecological retaining walls, drainage systems, and various landscape features have already been established, and recent enhancements include additional fitness equipment and walking paths, ultimately creating a multifunctional recreation space that harmonizes with the surrounding environment.
