Road Issues in Swiss Villa Finally Resolved, Community Environment Transformed

The long-standing road paving issues in the Swiss Villa of Keelung's Xinyi District have finally been resolved, bringing good news to residents. For many years, the area has faced difficulties due to private community pipeline replacements and road paving, lacking assistance from public departments. City council member Han Shiyu and village chief Wu Shijin conducted multiple site inspections to advocate for resources.
The city's Public Works Department initially deemed the roads within the Swiss Villa community as private, requiring consent from residents before proceeding with construction. However, with the support of residents, the water company agreed to fully replace the pipelines and pave the entire community's roads. Ultimately, the contractors finalized the construction plans and ensured they notified residents a week in advance, minimizing any disruptions to traffic and daily life.
