A Korean medical team from J-MEDI Partners visited Kaohsiung South Hospital to explore operations related to post-acute care (PAC) and day care centers, experiencing Taiwan's medical expertise and compassionate care.

The delegation included Hyuk Ga, the director of Incheon Eunhui Rehabilitation Hospital, and took place on the 23rd. The team observed the collaborative care services offered at Kaohsiung South Hospital and toured PAC wards designed with a ‘home-like’ concept, aimed at providing a familiar and comfortable environment for patients.

Director Zheng Mingfang emphasized that PAC is not just a continuation of medical care but a vital journey for patients to regain confidence in their lives. After the visit, the medical team also explored the day care center, experiencing the gentle companionship offered to elderly residents, engaging in various interactive activities that fostered community participation, creating a joyous atmosphere of cross-cultural exchange.
