The 2025 Nantou Lantern Festival has achieved recognition as its 'Flowing Light Art District', created by three artists, won the Platinum Award in the lighting category at the Italian Roma Design Awards. This honor elevates Nantou's cultural creativity onto the international stage. To allow more people to experience the charm of this award-winning light district, three large works will be displayed from May 30 to June 8 at the Nantou Chocolate Coffee Festival in the Puli Fuxing Hot Spring Area.

Artists Wu Qi, Cai Jiexin, and Zeng Weixiang created the pieces 'Feng Guang Beast', 'Shi Guang Beast', and 'Tou Guang Beast', which interpret the unique beauty of Nantou's nature and ecological environment, using mythical guardians to tell the story of coexistence between earth and life. The light district employs diverse lighting and energy-efficient LED designs, integrating sound and light interactive technology to create an immersive experience.

This year's Chocolate Coffee Festival features a larger scale with 15 thematic special zones and nearly 200 local brand booths, showcasing Nantou's industrial strength and diverse flavors. Nantou County Commissioner Xu Shuhua encourages everyone to visit during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday to experience this vibrant city.
