Masterpieces from New York's Metropolitan Museum on Display at Taipei's National Palace Museum

The "Metropolitan Masterpieces Exhibition," a collaboration between the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the National Palace Museum, will debut in June at Taipei's National Palace Museum. The exhibition features 81 classic works from 38 artists, spanning from Impressionism to Modernism, generating significant anticipation.

For travelers to New York, the Metropolitan Museum of Art is regarded as one of the world’s top three museums and remains a pilgrimage site for many. International guide Huang Yujin commented, "Classic attractions such as the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, and Wall Street are must-visits, and the Metropolitan Museum near Central Park is a spot all Taiwanese wish to visit."

This marks the first time that the Metropolitan Museum is transferring significant treasures to Taiwan on such a large scale, allowing art enthusiasts, young people, and families to experience and resonate with the art. Huang Yujin emphasized that this opportunity allows Taiwanese people to enjoy a cultural feast without the long flights and jet lag, making it more accessible.
