Trump Accuses China of 'Completely Violating Agreement': The Time for Being Nice is Over

The U.S.-China trade war continues. President Trump stated today (30th) that China has violated its agreement with the United States, blaming China for causing an economic crisis.

Trump noted that U.S. tariffs have inflicted a "devastating blow" on China, and he does not wish to see China’s economy falter. He had hoped to reach an agreement that would allow both economies to operate normally, but now he accuses China of completely violating the agreement. He declared, "The time for being 'Mr. NICE GUY' is over."

Trump emphasized that there had been significant progress in U.S.-China trade relations in May, with both sides agreeing to lower tariffs. On Truth Social, he mentioned that the U.S. originally imposed a 145% tariff on China, which has led to a severe economic crisis for China, making it nearly impossible for them to enter the U.S. market. However, while he did not specify how China has broken the agreement, he noted that many local factories are facing bankruptcy. He calls for reaching a fair trade agreement with China to stabilize the situation.
