Former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz's $6 Billion Yacht Navigates Narrow Dutch Canal

Howard Schultz, the former CEO of Starbucks, owns the luxurious superyacht 'Pi' which was recently spotted gliding through a narrow canal in the Netherlands, raising some eyebrows due to its close proximity to the bank. Valued at £150 million (approximately NT$6 billion), this extravagant yacht showcased a thrilling scene as it navigated the Woubrugge canal.
Measuring 254 feet (approximately 77.4 meters) in length and 37 feet (approximately 11.3 meters) in width, 'Pi' was constructed by the prestigious Dutch shipyard Feadship and has won multiple awards at the 2019 Monaco Yacht Show. Inside, the yacht boasts luxurious amenities such as a glass-bottom swimming pool, a spa area, and a beach club, accommodating 12 guests and 18 crew members.
With the assistance of two accompanying boats, 'Pi' carefully made its way through the canal, while local bridges were briefly opened to allow its passage. Previously, the yacht also made headlines when it docked at Pendennis Shipyard in Cornwall, UK for maintenance.
Schultz's wealth has grown significantly alongside Starbucks' success, with Forbes reporting his current net worth at £3.68 billion (approximately NT$148 billion), placing him as the 209th richest person in the world. His journey from Starbucks to a life of sailing luxury with 'Pi' highlights the epitome of elite wealth.
