Nantou University Dance Department Participates Again in Japan's Soran Festival
Nantou University Dance Department has created the performance piece "Shadows of Dance - Praise Cherry Blossom" to participate in Japan's Soran Festival held in Hokkaido. This initiative has received support from the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, with President Yang Zhenghong leading the team to Japan to promote as cultural ambassadors.
In the previous 33rd Soran Festival, the dance department received high praise for their performance "Dragon Comes to Taiwan." The new piece is themed around mountain cherry blossoms, showcasing the deep cultural exchange between Taiwan and Japan.
Numerous professional artists, including composer Liu Ziqi and designer Gu Tinglin, have collaborated to bring creativity to this exchange, demonstrating Taiwan's strength in performing arts.
