J-10CE Confirms Shoot Down of Rafale Fighter, CCTV Releases Combat Footage

The Chinese-made J-10CE fighter jet gained notoriety during the India-Pakistan air conflict, with CCTV recently releasing multiple clips confirming the downing of a French-made Rafale fighter. Its wreckage was found in a village near an Indian Air Force base. When questioned about the J-10CE during a routine press conference, the Chinese Defense Ministry remained discreet, urging both India and Pakistan to exercise restraint.
On May 7th, fierce air battles broke out between India and Pakistan, yet India has refrained from confirming whether Pakistani forces shot down a Rafale fighter. CCTV's footage further confirmed that the downed Rafale's wreckage was discovered in a village approximately 20 kilometers from the Indian Bathinda Airbase. Additionally, social media shared another image showing the wreckage marked with the identifier BS 001, which corresponds to the first single-seat Rafale fighter India received from France.
Chinese military experts noted that this clash represents the largest scale of air combat between India and Pakistan since 2019, characterized by aerial engagements within their respective controlled airspaces, highlighting the complexities of combat systems with numerous aircraft types developed by both countries.
