Known as the 'E-Commerce Queen,' Zhou Pinjun, the former founder of Tokyo's clothing line, recently purchased a designer bag worth almost 120,000 NT dollars in Ginza, Japan but faced a series of unfortunate incidents. The staff mistakenly charged her the wrong price, causing her to make two trips for tax refunds, and when she left the store, she suddenly realized her bag felt unusually light.

According to Zhou, she only intended to buy the bag, but was taken to a small room for checkout. After the payment was processed, the bag was not placed in the box, which left her stunned. Once she went to handle the tax refund, she returned to the small room only to be informed by staff that there was a mistake in the pricing and she needed to check out again. When the staff escorted her downstairs, she noticed the shopping bag was surprisingly light, and upon checking, she found there was only an empty box inside.

Zhou immediately rushed back to inquire with the staff, who apologized saying, 'I don’t know how this happened.' This experience shattered her previous impression of the meticulousness associated with Japanese service, especially in a high-end store. Zhou usually looks for luxury bags while traveling worldwide, and this incident also prompted her to remind others to always check their items before leaving the store regardless of where they are shopping.

Fortunately, she was able to return to Taiwan with the nearly 120,000 NT dollar bag, narrowly avoiding bringing back only an empty box.
