President Lai Ching-te Reflects on One-Year Tenure Highlighting 365 Days of Governance Achievements
As President Lai Ching-te approaches his one-year anniversary in office, he shared a reflection video titled 'This is Our 365 Days' on Facebook today (18th), emphasizing the diligent work and unwavering commitment over the past year. The video highlights achievements in military reforms, national defense autonomy, deepening Taiwan-U.S. relations, and expanding diplomatic successes.
President Lai stated that he will continue to promote economic development steadily and view challenges as opportunities. The government has established three committees focused on climate, health, and defense, aiming for collaboration with the private sector. They will concentrate on initiatives such as the comprehensive care for children aged 0 to 6, subsidies for private college tuition fees, sports policies, and youth development, with hopes of uniting the people of Taiwan for collective progress.
