Former Deputy Mayor Lin Chin-Jung Testifies, Claims Ko Wen-Je Was Fully Aware of the Jinghua City Case

The Taipei District Court held hearings on the Jinghua City case on the 15th, summoning former Deputy Mayor Lin Chin-Jung to testify against five defendants including former Taipei Mayor Ko Wen-Je. Lin stated in court that Ko was fully aware of the details surrounding the Jinghua City development project, emphasizing Ko's intelligence with an IQ of 157.
During questioning by prosecutors, Lin detailed the handling process by the Taipei City Government for urban renewal cases, clarifying that applications must be reviewed by the Urban Development Bureau to ensure compliance with regulations before being submitted to the Urban Planning Commission for legal announcement. Furthermore, Lin indicated that the Jinghua City case was under the surveillance of the mayor's office, thus Ko should be informed of all related matters. He also mentioned that Ko had requested regular updates from Lin Chou-Min on various projects, including the East District and West District portal plans and the circular line.
Lin firmly stated that even a single square meter given could constitute favoritism.
