Taiwan Debuts as a Featured Country at the 2025 Seoul Book Fair
At the 2025 Seoul Book Fair, Taiwan will make its debut as a featured country, showcasing its diverse cultural attributes. This exhibition will feature 23 authors presenting 550 selected books, under the theme 'Taiwan Sensibility', organized by the Ministry of Culture, the Cultural Content Agency, and the Taipei International Book Exhibition Foundation.
During the event, Taiwanese authors will travel to Korea to participate, showcasing the unique aspects of Taiwanese literature. Minister of Culture Lee Yuan emphasizes that this is an important opportunity to introduce Taiwanese culture to the world.
The Taiwanese pavilion will include cultural discussions and experiential activities, covering literature, art, history, and showcasing Taiwan's richness and diversity. Wang Shih-Su, Chairman of the Cultural Content Agency, stated that through cross-border translations, Taiwanese works will be introduced more widely.
