Liang Wenjie Suggests Director Stay Long Term in China to Understand True Living, Xie Hanbing Questions His Experience

Influencer "Director" Chen Zhihan recently traveled to China for a live broadcast and praised various developments such as the presence of doors in restrooms and robot food delivery. This has sparked discussions across the Taiwan Strait. In response, the spokesperson for the Mainland Affairs Council, Liang Wenjie, remarked that tourism often fails to reveal the true aspects of society, urging the director to stay longer and observe more to understand the reality of life there.
Liang highlighted that Taiwanese are very familiar with mainland China, especially regarding the changes and developments over the past 30 years. He pointed out that there are many Taiwanese working, studying, and doing business in China, with possibly around 300,000 to 400,000 residents, thus Taiwanese possess substantial knowledge about mainland China.
However, media personality Xie Hanbing sharply criticized Liang on Facebook, questioning his own experiences and whether he had really lived in China, pointing out, “Have you truly stayed there consistently or just visited Macau hotels a few times?”
