Taiwanese Influencer Concludes China Visit, Exposes DPP Lies but Worries He Might Not Return

Popular internet figure Chen Zhihan, known as "the curator," completed a six-day visit to Shanghai, China, and returned to Taiwan today (15th). Regarding this trip, he stated that he gained a new understanding of various aspects of China. "I used to believe that the mainland was in deep trouble; now I realize that was entirely a lie from the DPP," he remarked, emphasizing that the entire trip was self-funded.
He noted that, despite having held negative views about China due to limited information, this visit significantly changed his perspective on China's infrastructure, living standards, cleanliness, and public services. He confessed that he might consider doing business in China in the future but also expressed concerns about potential backlash upon returning home.
Furthermore, he stressed the importance of increasing interactions between the people on both sides of the strait to reduce misunderstandings and hatred, hoping that this trip could convey more messages of understanding and peace. "We speak the same language, celebrate the same festivals, and eat the same food, yet we fight each other with knives; isn't that strange?" he concluded.
