Trump Claims Israel and Iran Will Achieve Peace 'Soon'

In a recent airstrike, Israel bombed an oil storage facility in Tehran on June 15, creating a fiery spectacle witnessed by crowds on a bridge. Reuters reported that Israel commenced extensive bombings of Iran from June 13, provoking retaliatory attacks from Iran, with no signs of cessation in the fighting.

On Sunday, June 15, U.S. President Trump stated in a post that Israel and Iran would soon witness peace. He emphasized on his Truth Social platform that Iran and Israel should reach an agreement and would ultimately do so, citing his previous efforts to mediate between India and Pakistan. Trump noted that he used trade as a tool to instill rationality into the leaders of the two warring nations, enabling them to make swift decisions to end the conflict.

While he did not mention specific tools for achieving peace between Israel and Iran, he expressed, “We will soon see peace between Israel and Iran! Many calls and meetings are taking place. I have done a lot without receiving any praise for it, but that's okay; the people understand. Make the Middle East great again!”

Earlier, Trump also claimed he could easily mediate the conflict between Israel and Iran, asserting that it was not instigated by Americans.

On the same day, Iran and Israel continued to fire missiles at each other, with explosions reported in both countries. Footage circulating on social media reveals long lines of vehicles attempting to leave Tehran, indicating the city's tense situation.
