Israel and Iran Exchange Strikes, PM Netanyahu Claims Iran Attempted to Assassinate Trump

The military conflict between Israel and Iran continues to escalate. Since the outbreak of hostilities, 13 people in Israel have died and 380 have been injured, while Iran's death toll has risen to 224, including a top intelligence official of the Revolutionary Guard. President Donald Trump has expressed willingness to intervene and mediate to achieve a ceasefire, but Iranian officials state that talks are impossible as long as Israel maintains its offensive and claim to have no intention of developing nuclear weapons.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused Iran of planning to manufacture nuclear bombs and revealed that Iran attempted to assassinate Trump twice. He warned that Iran must pay a price for its deliberate killing of civilians, women, and children.
The latest Iranian attacks directly hit Israel's Weizmann Institute of Science, while Israel retaliated by firing missiles at the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, claiming to have destroyed Iran's nuclear facility and killed the Iranian Revolutionary Guard's intelligence chief and his deputy.
Netanyahu also called on the Iranian people to rise up against the Khamenei regime and stated that if Iran wants to negotiate, it must first cease its nuclear weapons production. Iran responded by saying that if Israel continues its offensive, negotiations will be impossible, asserting that it currently has no intention of developing nuclear weapons but cannot guarantee future intentions.
