National Scenic Areas Collaborate with China Airlines to Promote Central Taiwan Tourism

In a bid to attract more tourists from Hong Kong, Taiwan's Tourism Bureau collaborated with three national scenic areas and China Airlines to invite executives from 16 Hong Kong travel agencies to experience the beauty of central Taiwan from June 19 to 22, focusing on Miaoli, Taichung, Nantou, and Chiayi.
According to the Tourism Bureau, Hong Kong and Macao travelers are among Taiwan's top international visitors. They are familiar with Taiwan's culture and cuisine, showing interest in various themed tours. This event's theme, "Culture × Nature × Sustainability," aims to promote the tourism potential of central Taiwan through hands-on experiences.
During the event, the travel executives participated in woodworking DIY with the Carpenter Siblings, viewed performances at the Chiayi Zhu Lu Cultural Park, and enjoyed local delicacies from Chiayi.
To further promote cooperation between the two regions, a business matchmaking meeting was also held, bringing together 25 local tourism operators with Hong Kong buyers for direct discussions.
Secretary-General Fang Zhengguang of the Tourism Bureau emphasized that central Taiwan not only offers convenient transportation and enticing cuisine but also unique stories and natural landscapes. The aim is to rapidly promote Taiwan's charm as a top destination for deep travel among international tourists.
