Chinese Coast Guard Vessels Intrude on Kinmen Waters Three Times in Two Days

Over the course of two days, four Chinese coast guard vessels made three incursions into the restricted waters of Kinmen, entering in formation and even engaging with the Coast Guard Administration's patrol boats. The Coast Guard responded promptly, deploying vessels to drive the intruders away and broadcasting warnings in both Chinese and English, emphasizing their commitment to 'not avoid or concede.'
They stated that the actions of the Chinese vessels negatively impacted the security of the waters. This incident highlights the ongoing threat posed by Chinese coast guard ships to Taiwanese waters, with 76 recorded incursions into Kinmen's maritime territory since February of last year.
