New Taipei City Drug Driving Incident: Police Seize Zombie Cigarette
In the early hours of Sunday, police in New Taipei City's Tucheng District noticed a white van swerving off the road while driving along Yanhe Road. They initiated a pursuit, and upon stopping the driver, identified as Wu, they discovered a zombie cigarette. Authorities suspect he was driving under the influence of drugs, fortunately, no civilians were harmed in the incident.
As patrol officers observed the vehicle's erratic behavior, they signaled for it to stop, but the driver accelerated instead. It was only at the next intersection that he was apprehended. Officers found drugs and paraphernalia inside the vehicle and arrested him on drug charges, forwarding the case to the prosecutor's office.
