India Industry Briefing Held in Changhua City to Help Businesses Grasp Economic Trends

Changhua City Mayor Lin Shih-Hsien expressed gratitude to the Indian Taipei Association and the Republic of China’s External Trade Development Council for co-hosting the "India Industry Briefing." The event took place this afternoon at the Elderly Welfare Center on Sanmin Road in Changhua City and attracted many business professionals and citizens.

Main speaker Ye Da-Fu, the president of the Indian Taipei Association, analyzed the current state of India’s economy and market trends, discussing the rapid rise of the Indian economy and its potential impacts on businesses. According to predictions by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), India’s economic growth rate is expected to reach 6.8% by 2025, potentially surpassing Japan to become the fourth-largest economy in the world.

As India accelerates its infrastructure development and industrial upgrading, this presents not only a new market opportunity for Taiwan's export-oriented manufacturing but may also become a critical supply chain hub.

Other topics covered include understanding business opportunities in India, product testing, and resource networks for entering the Indian market, followed by an exchange of ideas among participants.
