Trump Criticizes Harvard Students for 'Not Being Able to Add 2+2'

U.S. President Donald Trump recently criticized Harvard University students, claiming that they "cannot even calculate 2+2". During a media interview, Trump explained why he does not wish to see the brightest minds at Harvard, stating that many of the students need remedial math classes, which raises questions about the university's admission standards.
Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem has canceled Harvard's eligibility for the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP), citing the university's support of violence and anti-Semitism, as well as its cooperation with the Chinese Communist Party. This ban will take effect in the 2025-2026 academic year, effectively prohibiting Harvard from enrolling international students.
Trump called for Harvard and other schools to change their educational approaches, expressing frustration at the constant protests from certain groups. Subsequently, Harvard filed a lawsuit against the ban and received temporary legal protection.
